Best of the Western Badmen at the Autry
Panel Discussion and Booksigning
Sunday, January 22, 2006, 2:00PM to 4:00PM

On Sunday, January 22nd, the Autry National Center is hosting a panel discussion and booksigning that is sure to make you boo and hiss!  A panel of ex-Hollywood “Heavies” will talk about their roles as the bad guys in Western movies. Actors scheduled to appear on the "Heavies" panel are George Keymas, Jan Merlin, Gregg Palmer, and House Peters, Jr.  Film historian Boyd Magers will moderate the discussion between the dastardly dudes and afterwards Boyd will sign copies of his new book, Best of the Badmen (Polecats, Varmints, and Desperadoes of Western Films).

Fans of our website will recognize Boyd Magers as the publisher of the very popular Western Clippings magazine and as the author of the upcoming Gene Autry Filmography book scheduled for release later this year. Boyd will be happy to autograph your brand new copy of Best of the Badmen (Polecats, Varmints, and Desperadoes of Western Films), which you can purchase in the Autry Museum Store immediately following the panel discussion of Best of the Western Badmen.

Admission to the panel discussion is $5.00 or FREE for Autry National Center Members. Not a member of the Autry National Center? Find out how to join here! Your museum Membership will get you into this event for free and you can use your Membership Discount at the Museum Store to buy the book.
